To protect the health and safety of my customers as well as myself, the below procedures have been in effect since April 1, 2020 and will continue to be in effect for the 2021 season. I look forward to the time when these drastic measures are no longer needed and you all may freely come into the shop!
- If you are sick in any manner, stay home! I will happily work on your bike at a later date!
- Appointments are required. Walk-ins are not accepted and customers will not enter the shop or drive onto the property without prior coordination or my specific permission/invitation. Do NOT open the gate and enter the property.
- At your appointment time, please park outside the gate and remain in your car if I have not already opened it. If you arrive early, or are going to be late, text me at 613.276.5216.
- I will open the gate enough for you to roll your bike through; please lean it against a tree while I keep a physical distance. I will close the gate behind you.
- If you're coming in the shop, wait to unload at the top of the laneway once I let you on the property.
- Masks are mandatory! No mixture of households in the shop & you must use hand sanitizer when you enter. Your temperature may be taken.
- As always, I will email, call or text you if I come across any unusual issues with your bike that I want approval on before proceeding.
- If you want an accessory (bell, lights etc.), let me know and you may enter the shop to pick what you want. Or, if you prefer, I will email or text you photos of items so you can select the one you want.
- I have a good stock of the usual parts and accessories but there is a worldwide shortage of bikes and parts with many suppliers out of stock still to start the cycling season. Some parts, accessories & bikes aren't projected to be shipped to me until April-June or even later.
- I will email the invoice as soon as the bike is ready.
- Payment is required before pick-up via e-Interac to info@wheelsinmotion.bike. I will not accept cash or cheques at this time.
- Pick-up & drop-off procedures are the same.
Any customer who does not adhere to these procedures WILL be refused service. Please assist in keeping us all safe and healthy.
